It is hard to quantify all the different ways that Leticia has supported Taller de José. She got involved early on with our work and was key in helping Taller de José to understand and better communicate about our work. Her leadership in developing the model of Accompaniment has helped to shed light on our impactful work and, more importantly, work more effectively with clients. Leticia is a member of Team Taller de José and is running the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to support the mission of Accompaniment. When asked why she decided to run the Chicago Marathon on our behalf, she shared:
“I enjoy running, but running a marathon is such a huge undertaking. There are few organizations that I would run a full marathon for, but the mission and important work that Taller de José does is something that I believe is worth challenging myself in this way to help support.”
