Charity Runner Fundraising Commitments

For the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, each runner is responsible for setting a minimum fundraising goal of $1,250 before the drawing closes (11/17/22), or $1,800 after the drawing closes. All funds raised go directly to support Taller de José.

 

Runners are responsible for their own race registration and fee ($230, varies year to year), but are eligible to receive entry fee reimbursement upon meeting designated fundraising goals!

Summer Marathon Training with CARA

Team TDJ runners have the opportunity to enjoy CARA’s “Power of the Group” on your marathon journey! CARA group training will provide you the support, community, and accountability you need to successfully reach the start line ready to race your fall marathon. The CARA program has helped tens of thousands of runners complete 26.2, serving newcomers and experienced runners alike.

  • 18-week training plan with five options (Novice, Novice II, Intermediate, Advanced, and Run/Walk)
  • Weekly training newsletter, and video guided marathon tailored strength training plan
  • Group training long Runs (Saturdays)
