Join Taller de José for our 18th Annual Builders Day Celebration—a Sunday Brunch to celebrate those who shape our community with care and compassion. This special day honors those who live out our mission of
accompaniment: walking alongside others with compassion, presence, and unwavering hope.
Builders Day is named in honor of St. Joseph, who—through humble craftsmanship and quiet strength—built more than homes; he built hope. In that spirit, we gather each year to recognize those who help build stronger, more connected communities.
As we continue to walk with our Chicago neighbors through legal, housing, medical, and social challenges, we pause on this day to reflect, celebrate, and give thanks for the many hands and hearts who make our work possible.
We are proud to present three awards each year that reflect the values at the heart of Taller de José.
In honor of St. Joseph, recognizing individuals who courageously build relationships, community, and a future filled with hope
Celebrating an organization who shapes our community through deep care, presence, and partnership
Honoring an individual or organization that has journeyed closely with us in mission and spirit
We invite you to support our mission of accompaniment by becoming a sponsor of our 18th Annual Builders Day Celebration. This annual event brings together 200 plus old and new friends to raise much-needed funds to support TDJ’s work. Each sponsorship includes event tickets and marketing opportunities. There are three ways to secure your sponsorship:
