In 2022, TDJ strengthened relationships with nearly 100 partner organizations and deepened its role as a bridge—connecting clients to legal aid, housing, financial help, and more, all while honoring the stories of those we accompany.
As we celebrated our 15th anniversary, 2023 marked a year of transitions and growth. With a 36% increase in clients served, TDJ expanded outreach and reaffirmed its long-standing presence in communities across Chicago.
In 2024, we welcomed new leadership and relocated to Gage Park—serving over 1,300 individuals. Through every change, our commitment to accompaniment never wavered, as we continued to walk alongside our neighbors in every step of their journey.
In 2025, TDJ saw a surge in community need — including a 137% increase in client contacts in the first six months. After settling into our new Gage Park location, we strengthened partnerships, welcomed new interns and volunteers, and continued serving as a trusted bridge for more than 1,100 clients seeking legal, health, financial, and immigration support.
