At Taller de José, we know that life doesn’t fit neatly into categories. That’s why, in addition to the areas highlighted on our homepage we also support individuals facing a wide range of other challenges.
If you need help, but don’t see your specific situation listed, we still encourage you to reach out. Our team is here to listen, assess your needs, and connect you to the right resources.
Our bilingual Compañerxs walk alongside you, helping you navigate complicated systems and access the support you need—whatever your unique situation may be. Some of the additional areas we commonly assist with include:
Every client who walks through our doors is paired with a Compañerx who listens with empathy, helps identify your goals, and accompanies you in finding the best path forward. Whether that means helping you fill out paperwork, making phone calls together, attending an appointment, or simply offering emotional support—you don’t have to navigate it alone.
While we don’t provide direct legal advice, therapy, or financial aid, we partner with a strong network of trusted community organizations. Our role is to ensure you don’t get lost in the system—and that you reach the place that can best meet your needs.
That’s okay. Many people come to Taller de José unsure of what help they need—they just know they can’t face it alone. We’re here to walk with you and help you figure out the next step.
